“I started painting ghosts some time ago, for apparently no reason. What started as a spooky-cute collection, ended up reflecting the loneliness of these times where social media is often showing an alternative reality we don’t always connect with. Like this little ghost, we all keep going through our lives, showing our best face while secretly carrying around our loneliness and struggles hidden inside a sheet. This is, ultimately, a reflection on loneliness, as well as a series of self portraits that hopefully people can relate to.”
